The Contribution of the Principal’s Leadhership and Responsibilities of Teacher toward Job Satisfaction of Teachers in Carrying out Tasks at Cluster IV Public Elementary School Kuranji District

Based on field observation, job satisfaction of teachers at ClusterIV Public Elementary School still very low. Researcher suspected the principal's leadership factors and responsibilities of teacher that influence that, therefore it is necessary to conduct the research to test the truth This study aims to reveal: 1) the contribution of principal's leadeship to job satisfaction of teacher, 2) the contribution responsibilities of teacher to job satisfaction of teacher, and 3) the contribution of principal's leadeship and responsibilities of teacher jointly to job satisfaction of teacher at Cluster IV Public Elementary School, Kuranji District. The hypothesis tested in this study are:1) there is a contribution of the principal's leadership to job satisfaction of teacher, 2) there is a contribution of the responsibilities of teacher to job satisfaction of teacher, 3) the contribution of the principal's leadership and responsibilities of teacher to job satisfaction of teacher. The population of this study was all teachers at Cluster IV Public Elementary School, Kuranji District with a total of 102 people. The sample of this study was 86 people who were chosen by using stratified proportional random sampling. The data were collected using a likert scale model questionnaire that was tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed by correlation and regression techniques. The results showed that: 1) the principal's leadership contributed to job satisfaction of teacher of 3.6%; 2) the responsibilities of teacher contribute to job satisfaction of teacher of 4.9%; 3) the principal's leadership and responsibilities of teacher contribute to job satisfaction of teacher of 5.9%. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, it can be seen that the principal's leadership is in the good category, the responsibilities of teacher is also in the good category
