Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes Using Innovative Learning Media on Students Learned Difficulty (Single Subject Research in 4th class SD N 18 Koto Luar Padang)

This research is motivated by the problems found in State Elementary School 18 Koto Luar. A student with learning difficulties in class IV who have difficulty in learning Mathematics, especially on the material of the unit of measure length. This can be seen from the result of the assessment done, the students have not been able to solve the math problem especially the material of the unit of measure length. Evidently students have not been able to calculate changes from one size to another.
This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics material length unit length using innovative learning media. The research method used is Single Subject Research using A-B-A design. Data analysis techniques used in the form of Visual Analysis of Graph. The study was conducted at baseline condition (A1) five times observation, intervention condition (B) twelve times and second baseline condition (A2) six times.
Based on the results of the research, it is seen that the frequency of the unit material length in the baseline condition (A1) is three questions from 25 questions from the first to the fifth meeting. After the intervention of increased student learning outcomes evidenced by the number of questions students can correctly answer is 18 out of 25 questions at the 12th meeting. In the second baseline condition (A2) the students' learning outcomes remained stable even without the aid being answered properly 18 out of 25 questions. From the results of data analysis obtained can be concluded that hypothesis (Ha) proposed can be accepted. Students' learning outcomes in learning disabilities can be improved by using innovative learning media conducted in SD Negeri 18 Koto Luar Padang.
