Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) dalam kegiatan microteaching untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik calon guru kimia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen berupa angket observasi yang telah divalidasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA Universitas Negeri Padang yang bertindak sebagai guru model. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Guided Discovery Learning berbasis LSLC meningkatkan keterampilan pedagogik calon guru dari kategori “baik” ke “sangat baik”. Penerapan sintaks GDL dalam kelas konvensional memperoleh skor tertinggi 7, sedangkan dalam LSLC memperoleh skor tertinggi 10. Disimpulkan bahwa LSLC dengan model GDL efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik calon guru.
