Pengaruh Dukungan Keluarga dan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan terhadap Minat Berwirausaha: Comparative Study Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Mahasiswa NonFakultas Ekonomi di Universitas Negeri Padang

The purpose’s of this research are to analyze : (1) The effect of family support on entrepreneurial intention of faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (2) The effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention of faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (3) The effect of family support on entrepreneurial intention of nonfaculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (4) The effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention of non-faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (5) Differences the effect of family support and entrepreneurship education simultaneously to the entrepreneurial intention of faculty economic students and non-faculty of economics students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The type of this research is causative and descriptive research. The population for this research is all students of Universitas Negeri Padang. The total sample of this research was 200 people by using a questionnaire. The result of this research shows that (1) Family support has significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (2) Entrepreneurship education has significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (3) Family support has significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of non-faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (4) Family support has significant effect on entrepreneurial intention of non- faculty of economic students at Universitas Negeri Padang (5) There is a different effect between Family Support and Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurship Intention of Faculty of Economics students and Non-Faculty of Economics students at Universitas Negeri Padang. The conclusion from this research is family support and entrepreneurship education show a significant effect on an entrepreneurial intention of a faculty of economics students and non-faculty of economics students at Universitas Negeri Padang. Family support and entrepreneurship education have a higher effect on an entrepreneurial intention of non-faculty of economics students rather than the faculty of economics students in this research. For the future research, it is better to increase the support of parents to their children to entrepreneurship and improve entrepreneurship activities that can influence entrepreneurial intention .
