Abstract
In general, motorbikes rarely have a location tracking device or GPS, especially for Honda beat motorbikes. This can
lead to increased motorcycle theft and loss. This study aims to create a security system that can be used to monitor the safety
and location of motorbikes. This research also made a motorcycle security system with notification on android and an alarm
sound. The method of implementation is carried out in order to successfully create a motorized vehicle security system starting
with hardware design, data collection and testing of tools by means of testing tools in an open field with a maximum distance of
5 km and reading the location of the motorbike is only done in an open space to see the effectiveness of the tool. In this design,
the Atmega328 microcontroller is used as a system control center, a dc relay that is used as a switch, a GPS sensor to find a
location, a wifi module ESP 8266 to get the internet network and connect the existing system on the motorbike to the vehicle
owner's android. On Android, the Telegram application is installed which is used to send and receive messages from a
microcontroller or system on a motorcycle. Programming using the Arduino IDE software. Based on the test results at a
distance of 5 km, the system can send and receive commands well, as well as search the location of the vehicle. The system is
able to work properly while still connected to an internet connection.
