Abstract
The purpose of the research was to analyse the patterns of Koto Anau Plate Dance in the perspective of choreography perspective. The object of the research was traditional Koto Anau plate dance. The data were collected through interview, observation, audio-visual recording, and note taking. The information was obtained by using a snowball technique. The validity of the data were checked through trianggulation, member check, and peer debriefing. The findings of the research showed that the Koto Anau Dance possessed a pattern seen from the choreography perspective. The dance consisted of six main elements.
