Abstract
PT. Semen Padang mines limestone and silica in Bukit Karang Putih and Bukit Ngalau with quarry method, starting from pioneering, drilling, drilling, blasting, loading ), hauling, crushing, to the manufacture of cement. In this final project the author discusses LimeStone Crusher II where the procedure of operation is shedding material on hopper crusher then feeder at bottom hopper will pass limestone to roller with constant speed, then roller continue to deliver material to enter hammer crusher after cramping process is finished then the material will go into filtering or grate bar of 50mm size later lime stone material is sent to storage for the next process in the factory PT. Semen Padang. In Bukit Karang Putih, especially Lime Stone Crusher II, Batu Lime production uses 2 types of dumping tools, namely dumptruck and wheel loader, for crusher crusher material size size is 50mm before sent to storage using belt conveyor, lime production also often do not meet target because it is influenced by several factors one of which is too little working hours. Even so, but lime stone production target to be sent to storage remains fulfilled because it is assisted by Lime Stone Crusher IIIA, and Lime Stone Crusher IIIB.Data that the author of the final project is the result of data retrieval in the field of which the author discussed is the availability of tools crackers where it is known that Mechanical Avaibility is a way of knowing the actual condition of the equipment when it is operating, Physical Avaibility is a physical state of the tool being used, Use Of Avaibility, which measures how effective an undamaged tool can be utilized, Utilization is a way to show how many percent of all working time can be utilized for production. Furthermore, the author discusses the hourly and daily production of LimeStone Crusher II in order to know whether the target is reached or not, and if not how much difference from the limestone production target. After all the data is known and discussed with the calculations that have been studied writers dikampus and the field then the results will be the author discussed the problem to solve the lime stone production in PT. Semen Padang can increase. In this final project the author tries to give solution to the problem with the effort of adding working hours during the production of Limestone in the white coral hill. After the author of the analysis, with the addition of working hours the production of Limestone in white coral hills can meet the targets required.
