Abstract

The research is caused of writer observation that the school still less of
trust, cooperation, and responsibility as culture value which is held faithly by all
of people together in the school to reach the school’s purpose. The purpose of this
research is to know and describe about school culture of Senior High School in
Lima Kota District through the values which is held faithly together and it is done
by doing trust, cooperation, and responsibility values. The research question is
how the teacher’s perception about school culture of Senior High School in Lima
Puluh Kota District with indicator: trust, cooperation, and responsibility.
The kind of this research is descriptive quantity. The population of this
research is all of teachers of Senior High School in Lima Puluh Kota District
which is totaled 484 people. The sampling technique is Stratified
Disproportionate Random Sampling, the sample total of this research is 83
people. Then, the instrument of this research is the quesionare which is made in
Likert scale model. Before doing the research, the quesionare has been tested the
validation, and its reliabilation. The data is analized by mean pattern.
The result of this research is shown that: (1) The school cuture of Senior
High School in Lima Puluh Kota District in trust aspect is very good, with the
score is 3,24. (2) The school cuture of Senior High School in Lima Puluh Kota
District in cooperation aspect is good with the score is 3,00. (3) The school cuture
of Senior High School in Lima Puluh Kota District in responsibility aspect is very
good, with the score is 3,22. So that, in generally school cuture of Senior High
School in Lima Puluh Kota District is very good, with the average score is 3,15. It
means the school culture of Senior High School in Lima Puluh Kota District has
been implemented very well. Hopefully to strengthen this condition they have to
do effort to increase the commitment in culture implementation as the values are
held faithly together continiously. And in this case, there is limitation of the writer
why the fact in the field is different from the result of this research because of
many limitation factors of writer which are discussed in this scription.
