Abstract

KUD. Sinamar Sakato a coal mine located in Dharmasraya district, West
Sumatra. And mining system was done KUD. Sinamar Sakato is an open pit mine
with open pit mining methods, the procedure of mining coal notch layer moves in
the same direction. One of the mining activities undertaken by KUD. Sinamar
Sakato namely coal blending different quality according to consumer demand.
Based on the results of research conducted by KUD. Sinamar Sakato there are
three layers of coal at the mine site, the seam flemming (above), seam Sinamar
(middle), seam jujuhan (bottom). While coal blending activities performed by
KUD. Sinamar Sakato contained in jujuhan seam, on seam seam 3.5b and 3.6b.
From the results of mixing coal seam 3.5b which has a calorific value of
5777 Kcal/kg (adb), ash 6.37% (adb), TS 0.33% (adb), TM 28.82% (ar). And
seam 3.6b has a calorific value of 5213 Kcal/kg (adb), ash 12.32% (adb), TS
0.41% (adb), TM 29.47% (ar). So that the seam was obtained from both the new
parameter value is the calories value of 5316 Kcal/kg (adb), ash 11.20% (adb),
TS 0.40% (adb) and TM 25.30% (ar). The coal demand of consumers having a
calorific value of 5300 Kcal/kg (adb), ash <14% (adb), TS <1% (adb), TM 28%
(adb).
