Abstract
Graduate Program, State University of Padang The learning process should be conducted in the form of interactive, fun, meaningful, religious, and motivates students to actively participate. Teacher as a motivator as well as facilitator should be able to prepare the learning devices that involve the students actively in both discovering and constructing the concept of material. Learning devices which are used in schools such as the Lesson Plan (RPP) and students’ worksheet (LKS) are not optimal in giving the contribution in improving the spiritual as well as students’ religious manner. Hence, it is important to develop mathematics devices learning in order to give the opportunity to the students to develop the spiritual manner in constructing the knowledge through the relevant study with the verses of Al-Quran and contextual problem based on religious nuance. The purpose of this research is to produce the Mathematics devices learning based on constructivism religious nuances which are valid, practical and effective. This research was a Development research used Plomp design that consists of three steps: (1) Preliminary Phase, this step was conducted to get the description of characteristics of the products which were developed and can be used in learning. This step consists of analysis curriculum, needs ( students and teachers), analysis of concept, and analysis of media. (2) Prototyping/Development Phase, this step conducted formative evaluations that consist of self evaluation, expert review, one by one evaluation, and a small group evaluation, (3) Assessment Phase, it conducted an observation of the activity and students’ learning outcomes in term of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The data of this research were gotten through validation sheets, questionnaires, observation and test sheets. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the constructivism religious nuances based learning tools which were developed have been valid in terms of construct and content. The results of observations, questionnaires and interviews showed that the devices have been practical in terms of easeness for the students and enough times for the students in finding the concept. Learning devices have been effective in terms of development of positive activities of students and improving students’ spiritual and religious character and students’ learning outcomes. Students’ learning outcomes in term of cognitive competence was more than 75% of Minimum Criteria Achievement, more than 75 % Affective Competence was B minimally, and more than 75% was above 75 of Psychomotor Competence. Based on these results, it was concluded that Learning Devices of Based-Constructivism Religious Nuance in Limit Function Material at Grade XI of Madrasah Aliyah were valid, practical and effective.
