Abstract

improve their writing skill which involved the improvement of mean score of writing indicators; vocabulary, content/ideas and organization. Moreover, it could be seen from the improvement of their mean score of basic score (60.3), test I (72.0), and test II (79.6). Furthermore, the factors that influenced the improvement of their writing ability involved materials, media, teacher’s approach, amount of practice, and students’ interaction. To sum up, the implementation of Animation Video in teaching writing of narrative text could provide positive results on their writing skill.
