Abstract

This research is backed by the problems that researchers find in SLBN 1 Painan One student autism who have problems with endurance sit in the learning process in class. So this research aims to increase the endurance of sitting autism children through playing maze. Research uses experimental research with the method of Single Subject Research (SSR), A-B-A design and technical data analysis using visual analysis of graphs. The research subject is a class III autism child. The child is told to play a maze game provided by researchers. The assessment takes note the duration of the time the child sits while playing the maze game. Variable measurements use time duration. At baseline conditions (A1) The observation is performed 6 times with the mean Level 2, on the intervention condition (B) observation is done 7 times with the mean level 3.86 and the baseline condition (A2) observation is done 5 times with the mean level 4.4. The results of data analysis in the condition and between conditions have an estimation of directional tendencies, the likelihood of stability, the data footprint and the change in levels that show positive improvement. Overlapping data on inter-condition analysis at baseline conditions (A1) when in intervention (B) in a seated endurance is 16.7% overlapping data with the baseline (A2) and Intervention (B) gained 0% capability. Based on this, shows that playing maze is able to increase the endurance of sitting child autism class III in SLBN 1 Painan. Then it is advisable on the teacher to be able to use the maze game in increasing the endurance sitting children autism.
