The Contribution of Leadership of Principal and Work Motivation to Quality of Learning at Junior High School of Sub District Koto XI Tarusan

The quality of learning is an important aspect should be reach in teaching learning process. Based on Pre-survey at Junior High School of sub district Koto XI Tarusan show that the quality of learning is low. It can be seen from teaching learning process which there is no teacher teaches serious and responsible to make the learning become interesting and effective. The purpose of research is to explain whether leadership of principal can contribute to quality of learning at Senior High School of sub district Koto XI Tarusan. The Hypothesa of this research are 1) The leadership of principle can contribute to quality of learning. 2) work motivation can contribute to quality of learning, 3) The leadership of principle and work motivation can work together to give contribution to quality of learning The populations of this research are all teachers of sub district Koto XI Tarusan which total numers is 238 teachers. The researcher used stratified proportional random sampling technique. The number of sampling are 79 teachers. The data colleting used questionaire which has validity and reliability. The data analysis used correlation and regration techniques. The result of research are 1) the leadership of principal could contribution 8.9% to quality of learning, in good categorize. 2) Work motivation could contibution to quality of learning 16.7%, in good categorize. 3) The leadership of principle and work motivation could work togather to give contribution to learning quality 20.6%, in good categorize.. Furhermore the descriptive analysis showed that the quality of learning, leadership of principle and work motivation stated in good categorize. The implication of this research was to improve the learning at Junior High School of Sub district Koto XI tarusan could be done through the leadership of principle and work motivation
