Abstract
Industry Working Practice (Prakerin) is an activity in vocational schools (SMK). This activity is an integral part of the learning process, and followed by vocational students and graduation requirement of SMK student. The importance of implementing Prakerin requires schools to make students are ready to implement Prakerin. Using guidance and counseling services, through the module information can do preparation of vocational students in implementing Prakerin. The purpose of this study is: (1) to produce guidance and counseling module for vocational students in Prakerin implement viable content, and (2) describe the level of modules usefulness in implementing Prakerin by counselor. The method used is research development models by ADDIE (Analiyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Research‟s subject consisted of: (1) three experts to test the feasibility, and (2) fifty people BK teacher/ counselor for usefulness test. The study was conducted through a trial product produced and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results showed that: (1) module of guidance and counseling preparation for SMK students in implementing Prakerin judged worthy utilized by counselor, (2) the level of usefulness rated high for use in helping students for preparing to Prakerin.
