Abstract
Based on field observations, indicate a problem with the professional performance of teachers in the District 50 City boarding. Researchers speculate that transformational leadership factors and influencing teacher merit system, therefore it is necessary for research to examine the factors that cause it, because it gives teachers the professional performance of considerable influence on educational success. This study aims to reveal: (1) Contributions of transformational leadership principals to teachers' professional performance boarding schools in the District 50 City; (2) Contributions of transformational leadership to the school head teacher's professional performance boarding schools in the District 50 City, and (3) Contributions of transformational leadership principals and merit system to the professional performance of teachers boarding . The hypothesis tested in this study are: (1) the principal transformational leadership contributes to the professional performance of teachers, (2) Merit system contributes to the professional performance of teachers, (3) Transformational leadership and merit system jointly contribute to the professional performance of teachers . The population of this study were all teachers of Civil Servants (PNS) and non- civil servants who actively teach the academic year 2013/2014 are teaching at the school district the City Fifty 200 people. Samples numbered 63 people were selected using Cochran formula. Data were collected by questionnaire Likert scale models that have been tested validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using correlation and regression techniques. The results showed that: (1) transformational leadership make a meaningful contribution to the Teachers 'Professional performance of 33.8 %; (2) Merit System Teachers make a meaningful contribution to the Teachers' Professional performance by 44.2 %; (3) Transformational Leadership and Merit System Master together make a meaningful contribution to the Teachers' Professional performance by 65,6 %. Based on the conclusions put forward the following suggestions: (1) Need Teacher Professional Performance improvement efforts through KKG and MKSS and other scientific forums; (2) Need transformational leadership improvement efforts in order to increase performance Teacher Professional done by conducting training both at the regional and national level, and (3)improved communication between teachers and principals, through friendly meeting between the community school, with sports, lectures and so forth, and (4) provide rewards to outstanding teachers thus increasing teacher in charge of the Professional Performance
