Studi komperatif Tari Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dengan Tari Sambut Silampari Provinsi Sumatera Selatan

Analyzing the differences and similarities between Silampari Khayangan Tinggi Dance and Silampari Sambut Dance is the main objective in writing this article. This research uses descriptive method, and the type of research is qualitative. The object of this research is the Silanganari Khayangan Tinggi dance with the Silampari welcoming dance in Lubuklinggau. Data collection technique done by literature review, observation, interview and documentation. This data is analyzed by using the following steps: (1) data collecting, (2) data selecting, (3) data presenting, (4) testing and data conclude. The results showed that the differences and similarities in the structure of the forms of presentation of the Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dance and the Sambut Silampari dance in South Sumatra had several differences and similarities. The difference in the structure of the two dances lies in the dance moves, floor design, fashion, accessories, property, and musical accompaniment. While the feeling lies in the dance moves, floor design, make-up, fashion, accessories, property, and musical accompaniment. The differences and similarities of the Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dance and the Sambut Silampari dance in South Sumatra, do not have differences in their presentation functions but according to their division this dance is used according to the origin of their respective regions. Both of these dances have the same function, namely to welcome the guests present to the city of Lubuklinggau and the district of Musirawas. In addition to welcoming grand guests, this dance is also used in weddings and other public gatherings. Factors affecting differences and similarities between Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dance and Sambut Silampari dance. The factors that affect the similarities of Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dance and Sambut Silampari dance consist of geographical, sociological, philosophical, aesthetic, and identity factors. While the factors that influence the difference between Sambut Silampari Khayangan Tinggi dance and Sambut Silampari dance are geographical, sociological, philosophical, and aesthetic factors.
