Abstract

Based on initial observations appear to lack the level of performance of teachers‟ duties of Senior High School in District IV Jurai. It is feared to affect the learning process in schools, which in turn affect the achievement of educational goals that are expected to work discipline and the authors suspect interpersonal relationships affect the implementation of the duties at the senior high school teacher in District IV Jurai. Therefore, research needs to be proved. This study aims to reveal the contribution of work discipline and interpersonal relationships on the performance of senior high school teacher in District IV Jurai. Three hypotheses were tested. First, the discipline of work contributing to the implementation of the duties of teachers. Second, interpersonal relations contribute to the implementation of the duties of teachers. Thirdly, the discipline of work and interpersonal relationships contribute jointly to the implementation of the duties of teachers. The study population was all the teachers at senior high school in District IV Jurai, amounting to 143 people. Sample as many as 97 people taken by Stratified proportional random sampling technique taking into strata and education levels of service. The instrument used for data is a questionnaire pegumpulan Likert scale models, which have examined the validity and the reliability. These results indicate that the three hypotheses tested significantly. Work discipline contribute as much as 21.7% of the performance of duties of teachers, interpersonal relationships contribute 20% of the performance of teachers and the discipline of work and interpersonal relationships together contributed 35,1% of the performance of duties of State High School teacher in District IV Jurai.
