The Contribution of the Principal's Leadership and work Motivation of Teachers to Discipline Teachers Porwat at SMA Negeri Pasaman Barat

Based on field observations, researchers looked at symptoms teacher labor discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman and at SMA Negeri 1 Talamau Pasaman Barat still low and the researchers suspect that the lack of labor discipline that teacher ineffectiveness is due to the leadership of the principal and the low motivation of teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of school leadership and motivation of teachers working discipline teachers tehadap 1 Pasaman at SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman and at SMA Negeri 1 Talamau Pasaman Barat. The hypotheses are: (1) the principal's leadership contributed to the work discipline of teachers, (2) work motivation of teachers contributing to the work discipline of teachers, and (3) the principal's leadership and motivation of teachers work together to contribute to the work discipline of teachers. The study population was a teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman and at SMA Negeri 1 Talamau Pasaman Barat. Sampling was done by using the techniques of Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires and the data were analyzed using correlation and regression techniques. The results show: (1) the principal's leadership contribute by 10.5% of the work discipline of teachers, (2) contribute to teachers' work motivation of teachers working discipline of 14.4%, and (3) the principal's leadership and motivation of teachers working together together accounted for 17.2% of the work discipline of teachers. Based on the above results, it was concluded that to improve the discipline of teachers' work can be done by increasing the effectiveness of school leadership and motivation of teachers.
