Pemanfaatan Metode Bercerita untuk Meningkatkan Perkembangan Sosial dan Emosional Anak di Kelompok Bermain Suku Anak Dalam

This research is based on the initial research, namely on the aspects of development, especially in the social and emotional aspects of the Suku Anak Dalam. The pattern of jungle life is still attached to the Suku Anak Dalam, violence, wanting to be alone, playing around the forest, climbing the fence if they want to go to class and less willing to communicate with new people known. For them, a view like this is not something strange, and and considered as something usual. The storytelling method is one of the teachers' ways of explaining social concepts and placing them emotionally naturally, even though slowly. It's just that the application of the storytelling method has not been with the right steps and instructions, and is not well scheduled. This study aims to determine the process of social and emotional development of children and to increase their development through storytelling methods. The type of research in this research is Action Research in order to produce information and knowledge of the influence of the storytelling method on the social and emotional effects of Suku Anak Dalam. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The results of the actions from each meeting in cycle I and cycle II continue to increase. In Cycle I, at the first meeting, the social values of children were in the category of not being able to be 12 children, and in the Very Well Developed category 3 children. Meanwhile, at the last meeting in cycle II, the value of the children in the category that could not be were nothing and developing very well was 17 children. It can be concluded that the storytelling method affects the social and emotional development of children.
