Kontribusi Self Determination dan Konformitas Teman Sebaya terhadap Pelecehan Seksual

This research is motivated by the rise of cases of sexual harassment that occur among teenagers, where some teenagers are involved as perpetrators of sexual harassment. Peer conformity and peer conformity predicted to contribute to sexual harassment behavior in adolescence. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) self-determination, (2) peer conformity, (3) sexual harassment, (4) examine the contribution of self-determinationagainstsexual harassment, (5) examine the contribution of peer conformityagainst sexual harassment, and (6) examine the contribution of self-determination and peer conformity a jointly against sexual harassment. The population in this research is high school youth throughout the city of Padang who are active in 2020/2021. The number of samples in this study were 273 teenagers who were selected by cluster random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The instrument used is in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert Scale model. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, simple regression, andmultiple regression. The research findings show that: (1) the self-determination was in the category ofhigh, (2) peerconformityare in the category of low, (3) sexual harassment is in the categoryof low, (4) the contribution of significant negative between self-determination with sexual harassment was about 54.2%, (5) the contribution significant positive relationship between peer conformity and sexual harassment was about 58.8%, (6) there is a significant relationship between self determination
