Abstract
Application of the chemistry knowledge in processing a material into a useful product with economic value can be done through chemo-entrepreneurship oriented learning. The aim of this research was to produce teaching materials in the form of a module on chemo-entrepreneurship oriented for chemistry learning that is valid, practical and effective. The research and development approach was used in this study. The data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests as well as documentation. The data of the research were analyzed based on descriptive quantitative. The result of the analysis showed the validation score of the module as 84.3%, which means it is very valid. The module was declared effective because the students’ activity is in a very high category with a score of 80% and the student's conceptual understanding is in a good category with a score of 87%. While student and teacher response to learning by using a module on chemo-entrepreneurship oriented is positive, the module is in a very practical category. In conclusion, result from data analysis shows the designed module with chemo-entrepreneurship oriented for chemistry learning as valid, practical and effective for use in chemistry education for the grade XI students on the odd semester.
