Kajian Teknis Sistem Penyaliran Tambang pada Penambangan Batubara PT.Kuansing Inti Makmur Muara Bungo Jambi

PT. Kuansing Inti Makmur is a company engaged in coal mining has a
mining permit ( IUP ) that located in Tanjung Belit, Kecamatan Jujuhan, Bungo
Regency, Province of jambi .
PT . Kuansing Inti Makmur mining operations with a system of open-pit
system (surface mining), which uses the method of open pit mine that will form the
basin. Penyaliran system applied to the Mine site PT . Kuansing Inti Makmur is
mine dewatering system by allowing water to pour into the mine site to be
accommodated in the reservoir (sump) and then released outside of the mine with
pumps . and Mine Drainage system that is preventing the water to get into the
mine site by making the channel around the pit so that the water does not get into
the mine .
Catchment area in east pit PT. Kuansing Inti Makmur Covering an area of
182,5 hectares and catchment area-2 in east pit of 68 hectares. Maximum
capacity sump to collect water runoff and groundwater amounted to 297.164 m3.
Open channel cross-section shape that is created is the trapezium. The
first channel is
located in
the pit which
serves
to drain water
to
the Main Sump,the second channel is located in the southern part of the pit which
serves to reduce the discharge water runoff will go. Pumping systems were
performed using HDPE pipes and pumps used is a centrifugal pump Multiflow
MF-420 E, which has a maximum head 152 meter and pump discharge to a
maximum of 370 liters / sec as a four unit. Results of pumping flowed into on the
mud settling ponds (KPL) with a maximum volume settling pond of 10499 m3.
Settling ponds serves to neutralize harmful substances from the water pumping
results before being drained into the river
