Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tanjung Enim Mining Unit is State-Owned
Enterprises (SOEs) that produce coal as an energy source. In terms of resources
and reserves, coal is the energy source of the future is promising. Currently, the
total amount of resources to achieve more than 38.8 billion tons. PT. Bukit Asam
mine to mine in Air Laya, the MuaraTiga, and Banko in the village of
TanjungEnim, South Sumatra.
In coal mining in PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) T.bk conducted by Sustainable
Mining mining system. In the mining system using primary Mining Tool is a tool
to explore system BWE, belt conveyor as a means of conveyance, as penghampar
ground spreader and Stacker and Reclaimer for material stockpile coal in the coal
pile and then proceed to the Loading Station (TLS).
Mining system with a continuous mining system is a series of work
systems, which means that if one system stops the other will stop. BWE is a
productivity tool that has been dug very well and have a method in excavation
material. Bucket Wheel Excavator digging tool equipped with a bucket, 14 bucket
with a bucket capacity of 0.8 m³. Bucket Wheel Excavator can dig coal seams up
to a maximum seat height of 12 meters.
To achieve the production target of 1350000 tons / month and targets need
to increase the SPF 1050 average - the average flow of 61.5 per bucket of
outpouring / bucket to 65 outpouring / bucket. BWE and productive hours per
month is 21.43 hours / month or 1285.71 minutes / month.
