Furthermore, films are one of the most widely used communication media today. From the analysis results, the researcher found that the use of politeness strategies in requests is most commonly found among characters between humans and humans, which is 54.88% of the total data. In addition, negative politeness is a strategy of politeness that is widely used by characters, accounting for 32.93%. The researchers concluded that politeness strategies in requests are commonly found in conversations between human characters and that negative politeness is a strategy frequently employed by characters to express politeness strategies in requests. The results of the study in the fictional genre film show that the use of politeness strategies in requests is predominantly utilized by human characters. Furthermore, the strategy that dominates politeness strategies in requests is the negative politeness strategy.
