The background on this research is underlined to the students’s ability in
student’s score. The underline of this research based the low of student’s score in
examination. This is can be seen 80% of the students cannot pass the standard
competence. Furthemore, the low of the students’s ability in mastering goi and dokkai
is one of the problems of this research. This research is aim to see the relation
between goi mastery and dokkai skill of the XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman.
This is quantitative research with using descriptive methode by using relation
design. The population of this research was the students in SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman.
The sampels were 32 students in XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pariaman. The data of this
researchs are done by test score in the student’s ability in mastering goi and dokkai.
Based of the results of this research conducted in mind the following points.
First, the average value of students' mastery goi class XII IPA 1 SMA 2 Pariaman is
77.32 with qualifying not completely. Secondly, the average value of the class XII
students the ability dokkai IPA 1 SMA 2 Pariaman is 79.73 with qualifying not
completely. Third, there is a significant correlation between mastery goi with the
ability dokkai class XII student IPA 1 SMA 2 Pariaman on the significant level of
95% with degrees of freedom n-2 (32-2 = 30). Thus, H0 and H1 accepted because the
test results prove that because the test results prove that tcount greater than ttable,
