Abstract

Kud Sinamar Sakato is one actor that coal mining is doing by open-pit miningsystem in the province of West Sumatra, precisely in Jorong Sinamar Nagari SungaiLimau Kecamatan Asam Jujuhan Kabupaten Dharmasraya.Geographically locatedbetween 101 º 41 '53 "BT to 10 º 42' 09" BT and 01 º 22 '23 "LS up to 01 º 23' 03" LSwith an area of 197.33 Ha . KUD Sinamar Sakato coal production target of ± 30.000tons/month production and overburden ± 180.000 BCM/month with large strippingratio (SR) 1:6In relation to mining activities in the area that has been mined or to be donepost mining reclamation process, the next step will be done in-pit back filling forreforestation activities. Mined land reclamation activities carried out according to theplan will be planted with productive plants, trees Karet and Petai China.Reclamationconducted by KUD Sianamar Sakato stocking method. How this is done when theamount of top soil which is quite a lot. Topsoil thickness determined by KUDSinamar Sakato is 0.4 m and the spacing of pohon karet 6 x 4 m and petai china 3 x 2m. trees petai cina spaced out in the garden amongst the trees karet.The selection of these two trees is based on the income that will be received byKUD Sinamar Sakato after mining stopped.
