Abstract

PT. Allied Indo Coal (AIC), Tbk. Is a join tholder of the power of thecoal mining concession area locatedin the area Parambahan, Sawahlunto.Theimplementation of the mining activitiesat PT. AIC, Tbk. performedby thecontractor that consists ofopen pit miningactivitiesbyPT. Tamasu Bara Utama(TBU).PT. Allied Indo Coalis ageneral coal mining operations. Miningcontract periodis 32 years old and expected toendin the year 2017 withanarea of844haarea.Mining operation sconducted by PT. Tamasu Main Coal open pitpattern (Open Cut Mine) and small-scale underground mining CV. TelagaProsperous Trueal some thods used for mining is a method underthe long hallway (Long wall method) with excavation system back wards (retreatingsystem), the underground mining methodapplied to thecoal seamsarethin andflat(slope layeris lessthan300) withake mining panels. In the coal miningsystem back ward, mining begins with aroadon bothsides ofthe panelasadriveway material ran sport workers and forwar dedto the making ofthework surface, then just domine by approaching the main roadtowardsprogress. Each with aproduction of5,000 tonspermonth±forOpenMineand Underground Mining(Underground Mining) with production1500ttons/month.To assess whether the mining work iseffectiv.eornot, the authorsevaluated the mining jobs. Based on the results of the evaluation by theauthor, can be seen the amount of equipment needed, the productivity of eachdevice as well as the most cost effective and efficient, which is to explore thetool used is 1 unit Komatsu PC 300 excavator with a bucket capacity of 2,3 m3and 4 units Hino Jumbo Renger FM 260 Ti with a capacity of 20 tons canexceed production targets namely, from 101.347,2 tons to 85.825,85 tons to30 working days with match factor 0,3,8 < 1. Whereas, if the PT. AIC using 1unit Komatsu PC 300 excavator with a bucket capacity of 2,3 m3and 7 unitsof Dump Truck Hino Jumbo Renger FM 260 Ti with a capacity to produce 20tons will150.159,23 ton to 30 working days with match factor 1.
