Abstract
This thesis is the analysis of drama Rainbow‟ s End (2005) by Jane Harrison. The purpose of this analysis is to find out which setting and plot(conflicts) reveal the efforts of the characters to strive for human rights. This analysis is related to the concept of Agency in postcolonial studies by Ashcroft et al. This analysis is supported by the text-based and context-based interpretation. The result of this analysis shows that the characters create opportunities and resist the oppression to strive for human rights.
