Abstract

Mathematics background is the content of lessons learned from elementary education to college. Mathematics is important for human life. But there are still many students who consider mathematics to be an elusive subjectSiswasekolahdasarmasihberadapadatahapoperasionalkonkret. The fact that in the field found that the existing teaching materials have not helped students find the concept of independent seacra so that students find it difficult to understand the subject matter, especially in the data presentation material. Therefore, this study aims to develop discovery learning-based mathematics teaching materials using microsoft sway 365 for grade IV elementary school students that are valid, practical and effective. The research method used is a development model according to Plomp. The Plomp model consists of three stages, namely prelimanary research, development phase and assessment phase. The subjects of this study were grade IV students at SD PlusMarhamah and SDN 038/XI Koto Lolo. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and test sheets. The results of the study obtained discovery learning-based mathematics teaching materials using microsoft sway 365 which have a level of validity of teaching materials reaching grades with valid categories, the level of practicality of teaching materials reaching values with practical categories and levels of effectiveness with effective categories.The result of this is in the form of a valid, practical and effective mathematics teaching material product for grade IV elementary school students. From these results, it can be said that discovery learning-based mathematics teaching materials using Microsoft Sway 365 are feasible, easy and can achieve learning goals.
