Abstract
This research was intended to find out the effect of problem solving combined by concept mapping on attitude. The instruments which were used to collect data was questionare. The data were analyzed by using covariance analysis technique (ANACOVA) and LSD test. The result of the research showed that there was significant difference on students’ average score of attitude toward the material and teaching method among three treatment classes. From LSD test result for each variable, it was known that for attitude toward the material, C class score was higher than A class but not higher than B class, and B class was not higher than A class, and for attitude toward the teaching method, C and B class score was higher than that of A class, but C class score was not higher than that of B class
