        <dc:description>Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemberian afirmasi positif dapat meningkatkan self esteem remaja LPKA yang memasuki masa pengurusan bebas di LPKA Klas II Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini berdesain kuasi eksperimen dan berjenis the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Alat ukur penelitian ini adalah RSES-10. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 14 orang, dengan pembagian 8 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 6 orang kelompok kontrol. Pelaksanaan pemberian afirmasi positif dilakukan selama 18 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan self esteem yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen setelah pemberian afirmasi positif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa afirmasi positif mampu membantu proses integrasi diri pada anak binaan menjelang masa bebas.</dc:description>
