Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas psikologi dan kesehatan tahun pertama yang merantau, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 106 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengambilan data melalui dua instrumen penelitian, yaitu skala Multidimensional sense of humor Scale (MSHS) dan skala Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan koefisien korelasi 0,453 Dengan taraf signifikansi p=0,253 yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Diketahui terdapat hubungan yang positif antara sense of humor dan penyesuaian diri pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi dan kesehatan tahun pertama yang merantau, yang berarti semakin tinggi sense of humor maka semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi dan kesehatan tahun pertama yang merantau.QR Microbiology2026-05Universitas Negeri Padang;Psikologi FPK UNPThesis
