        <dc:description>Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh modal manusia terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Provinsi Sumatera Barat tahun 2017–2023. Kesejahteraan diukur melalui PDRB per kapita dengan variabel independen pendidikan, kesehatan, TPAK, dan tingkat kemiskinan. Variabel kontrol berupa investasi dan infrastruktur. Metode yang digunakan adalah Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) dengan pendekatan Difference GMM dan System GMM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel lag PDRB per kapita berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap PDRB per kapita saat ini, baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Modal manusia yang diwakili oleh pendidikan dan kesehatan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tingkat kemiskinan memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan, sedangkan TPAK tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Di sisi lain, investasi memberikan pengaruh positif signifikan dalam jangka panjang, sedangkan infrastruktur justru berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas modal manusia sebagai upaya mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan di Sumatera Barat.</dc:description>
