Indragiri Hilir Provinsi RiauHeriAnugerahauthorPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimasi fuel ratio pada aktivitas pengupasan overburden melalui perbaikan geometri jalan angkut. Permasalahan utama yang melatarbelakangi studi ini adalah belum tercapainya target produksi alat angkut dump truck Volvo FMX440 pada bulan februari sebesar 81.120 BCM/bulan dan aktual di lapangan sebesar 77.840,46 BCM/bulan dan tingginya fuel ratio aktual sebesar 0,35 liter/BCM yang melebihi target perusahaan sebesar 0,30 liter/BCM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil evaluasi terhadap segmen jalan angkut mengidentifikasi ketidaksesuaian dengan standar Kepmen ESDM No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018, terutama pada grade jalan, lebar jalan lurus, lebar jalan tikungan, superelevasi dan cross fall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbaikan geometri jalan mampu menurukan total resistance dan meningkatkan kecepatan akat angkut dan mempersingkat cycle time. Hasil ini berdampak meningkatkan produksi alat angkut pada bulan februari menjadi 92.116,39 BCM/bulan sekaligus menurunkan fuel consumption. Dengan demikian, fuel ratio berhasil dioptimasi menjadi 0,26 liter/BCM, yang telah memenuhi target perusahaan.TN Mining engineering.
