Salah satu solusi adalah proses pirolisis yang mengubah limbah plastik menjadi bahan bakar tanpa oksigen. Penelitian ini menganalisis kekuatan reaktor pirolisis menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA) pada ANSYS dengan variasi material Stainless Steel 304 dan Baja Karbon AISI 1045 serta ketebalan 3 mm dan 5 mm. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan Stainless Steel 304 ketebalan 5 mm memiliki distribusi tegangan paling merata dan faktor keamanan tertinggi, sehingga dinilai paling optimal terhadap beban termal dan tekanan 0,1 MPa pada suhu operasi hingga 462°C. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa Stainless Steel 304 memiliki distribusi tegangan yang lebih merata serta nilai safety factor lebih tinggi dibandingkan Baja Karbon AISI 1045. Ketebalan 5 mm memberikan penurunan deformasi dan tegangan maksimum, sehingga struktur lebih kuat dan aman terhadap beban operasi.
