Repository Universitas Negeri PadangLaporan Studi Kasus di Aston Batam Hotel & ResidenceAdinda FatimahDarmayantiauthorDepartemen Engineering di Aston Batam Hotel & Residence memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga kelancaran fasilitas dan operasional hotel, namun dalam pelaksanaannya ditemukan kendala berupa minimnya sinergi dan koordinasi kerja antara tim General Maintenance (teknisi lapangan) dengan Admin Engineering selaku pusat kendali administrasi data. Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab utama minimnya koordinasi tersebut serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap efisiensi penanganan work order di hotel. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi partisipatif terhadap alur kerja harian, wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan Chief Engineer beserta staf teknisi, serta dokumentasi rekapan logbook operasional. Hasil utama dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa hambatan komunikasi terjadi akibat kebiasaan teknisi yang mengabaikan konfirmasi penyelesaian tugas pasca-eksekusi lapangan, ketergantungan pada sistem pelaporan manual yang rawan terlupa, serta belum adanya media kontrol informasi yang terintegrasi secara real-time. Implikasi dari temuan ini menegaskan perlunya perbaikan sistem manajemen operasional internal, sehingga direkomendasikan penerapan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) pelaporan pasca-perbaikan yang lebih tegas, pemanfaatan papan kontrol visual (task board), serta pengaktifan morning briefing berkala untuk menyelaraskan komunikasi antarstaf.Hoaspitality Management2026FPP UNPMonograph
