        <dc:description>Masih banyak guru yang belum mengetahui efektivitas waktu tunggu 1 di kelas EFL khususnya di SMP yang ada di kota Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati bagaimana penerapan waktu tunggu 1 guru di kelas dan juga apa kendala guru dalam menerapkan waktu tunggu 1 di kelas dengan menggunakan metode Stimulated Recall Interview (SRI). Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 18 orang guru SMP di Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu tunggu 1 guru SMP di Padang adalah 3,49 detik, selain itu penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa waktu tunggu 1 guru dengan soal bahasa Inggris lebih lama daripada bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kendala penerapan waktu tunggu 1 datang dari guru itu sendiri</dc:description>
