        <dc:description>Pembelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TI&amp;K) di SMP masih belum mencapai angka ketuntasan minimum. Hal ini diprediksi disebabkan oleh kurang bervariasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi permasalahannya ini adalah mencoba metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dapat membuat pembelajaran TI&amp;K menjadi lebih menarik, sehingga diperkirakan dapat meningkatkan pencapaian kompetensi mata pelajaran TI&amp;K siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki perbedaan pencapaian hasil belajar TI&amp;K siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Research). Populasinya adalah semua siswa pada kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Bukittinggi yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Melalui teknik Purposive Sampling didapatkan kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII I sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah lembaran tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji kesamaan dua rata-rata dengan uji t. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 4,4013 dan ttabel (α = 0,05) sebesar 1,67 yang artinya thitung &gt; ttabel. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran TI&amp;K kelas VII SMPN 4 Bukittinggi.</dc:description>
