        <dc:description>Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena SMPN 3 Sungai Pua Kabupaten Agam sebagai pihak penyelenggara Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) belum mampu memenuhi hak-hak siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu, karena masih ada di temukan pemungutan biaya pembangunan kepada siswa baru, dan masih banyak hak-hak siswa yang belum terpenuhi untuk mendapatkan pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Selanjutnya data dianalisis me lalui kualitatif. Teknik pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian, menunjukan bahwa Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) di SMPN 3 Sungai Pua Kabupaten Agam belum berperan dalam pemenuhan hak-hak siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu, karena sekolah belum mampu memenuhi semua hak-hak siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu. Hak-hak siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu meliputi, pembelian/penggandaan buku teks pelajaran, kegiatan dalam rangka penerimaan siswa, kegiatan pembelajaran dan ekstra kurikuler siswa, kegiatan ulangan dan ujian siswa, pembelian bahan-bahan habis pakai, membantu siswa miskin. Adapun hak-hak siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang bermutu yang masih belum dipenuhi oleh SMPN 3 Sungai Pua terkait kepada, pembelian dan pengadaan buku teks pelajaran, kegiatan dalam rangka penerimaan siswa, pembelian bahan-bahan habis pakai, membantu siswa miskin.</dc:description>
