Penelitian ini berebentuk observasi dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan dengan mengumpulkan data dari CV Bastiyan secara langsung mengamati, mengumpulkan data tertulis serta tanya jawab dengan pemilik CV Bastyan. Jenis penelian yang digunakan dalam penulisan Tugas Akhir ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan pada CV Bastian beralamat di Jl.Tanah Sirah Piai Nan XX, Kec. Lubuk Begalung, Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa sistem akuntansi pada CV Bastyan belum berjalan dengan semestinya. Jadi peneliti merencanakan sebuah sistem akuntansi sederhana yang tepat untuk diterapkan pada CV Bastian. Sistem ini dirancang sederhana, agar dalam pelaksanaan dilapangan berjalan dengan lancar.
