Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain state group comparison yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XII TITL 1 berjumlah 20 dan XII TITL 2 berjumlah 22. Penentuan kelas eksperimen dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan kelas eksperimen terpilih ialah kelas XII TITL 1. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penilaian kinerja siswa yang dinilai dari beberapa aspek meliputi persiapan, proses, hasil, keselamatan kerja dan laporan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas XII TITL yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai thitung 2,53 > ttabel 2,02 dan nilai Sig.
