Repository Universitas Negeri PadangPengaruh Penerapan Metode Pictorial Riddle Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran TI&K di Kelas VII SMP PGAI PadangDedyFebrialdyauthorBerdasarkan hasil pengamatan peneliti tentang pembelajaran TI&K di SMP PGAI Padang, proses pembelajaran TI&K kurang berjalan dengan baik karena kurangnya pemanfaatan media, sehingga motivasi belajar siswa kurang, akibatnya hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka digunakanlah Metode Pictorial Riddle dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan Metode Pictorial Riddle terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran TI&K. Penelitian ini berbentuk kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasy eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP PGAI Padang yang berjumlah 50 orang dan hanya terdiri dari 2 kelas maka teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah purposive sampling yaitu kelas VIIA dan VIIB masing-masingnya berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan tes, berupa soal objektif sebanyak 40 butir soal. Kemudian data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata–rata kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan Metode Pictorial Riddle 79,84 dengan standar deviasi (SD) 8.14 dan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan Metode Pictorial Riddle 65,04 dengan standar deviasi (SD) 6,82. Berdasarkan perhitungan t-test diperoleh t hitung 6,829 pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05 t-tabel adalah 2,060, sehingga t-hitung besar dari t-tabel.
