        <dc:description>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui tutupan lahan di Nagari Silongo Kabupaten Sijunjung (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil estimasi simpanan karbon di Nagari Silongo Kabupaten Sijunjung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan klasifikasi tutupan lahan menggunakan metode supervised maximum likelihood, perhitungan simpanan karbon pada tutupan lahan dengan Citra Sentinel - 2A. Hasil penelitian terdapat beberapa kelas diantaranya hutan lahan kering sekunder, pertanan lahan kering bercampur semak belukar, semak belukar, perkebunan, sawah, permukiman dan lahan terbuka seluas 50,053 Ha. Jumlah simpanan karbon yang dihasilkan pada tahun 2021 sebesar 22,7 Ton C/Ha. Dimana simpanan karbon yang paling banyak dihasilkan yaitu hutan lahan kering sekunder sebesar 6,4 Ton C/Ha. Dan simpanan karbon yang paling sedikit dihasilkan yaitu lahan terbuka sebesar 0,2 Ton C/Ha.</dc:description>
