        <dc:description>Penelitian ini berawal dari fenomena di sekolah bahwa proses pembelajaran berpusat pada guru, sehingga kurangnya minat dan motivasi siswa dalam pelajaran TIK. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai batas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengaruh model Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran TIK kelas VIII di SMPN 2 Curup Kota, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan model TAPPS pada kelas eksperimen dan pembelajaran biasa/konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Curup Kota, sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII.F kelompok eksperimen dan kelas VIII.C kelompok kontrol. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tes berbentuk objektif dengan 40 butir soal. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan uji-t yang sebelumnya diuji normalitas dan uji homogenitas . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas VIII.F yang dijadikan kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata- rata 79,44, sedangkan untuk kelas VIII.C yang jadikan kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata 68,16. Hasil uji-t yang digunakan menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (thitung &gt; ttabel). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Model TAPPS berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran TIK Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Curup Kota, khusunya pada materi pengolah kata.</dc:description>
