Untuk mengetahui berapa luasan abrasi dan akkresi yang terjadi pada tahun 2002 hingga 2012 dan 2012 hingga 2022. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan sistem informasi geografis dan teknik penginderaan jauh yang berupa Data citra yang digunakan berupa citra Landsat 7 tahun 2002 hingga 2012 dan citra Landsat 8 tahun 2022 hingga 2022 Penelitian menggunakan metode Digital Shoreline Analysis System 'DSAS'. Yaitu, menggunakan Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) dan Endpoint Rate (EPR). Untuk menghitung luas abrasi dan akresi menggunakan menu Calculate Geometri. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa peta perubahan garis pantai dari tahun 2002 hingga 2012 dan dari tahun 2012 hingga 2022. Dari tahun 2002 hingga 2012 laju dan jarak yang terjadi adalah akresi. Dari 2012 hingga 2022, perubahan garis pantai laju dan jarak yang terjadi adalah abrasi. Luas garis pantai akibat abrasi bertambah 57.702 m pada tahun 2002–2012 dan 2012–2022, sedangkan luas garis pantai akibat akresi pada tahun 2002–2012 dan 2012–2022 mengalami penurunan sebesar 61.851 m.G Geography2022Universitas Negeri Padang;Teknologi Penginderaan Jauh FIS UNPThesis
