Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh diameter pada hasil pengujian triaksial. Pengujian dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknik Pertambangan Universitas Negeri Padang. Pengaruh hasil uji triaksial pada sampel diameter 4.6 cm, 5.5 cm, 7.5 cm terhadap nilai kohesi (c) adalah semakin besar diameter sampel uji maka nilai kohesinya juga semakin besar, sedangkan terhadap nilai sudut geser dalam (ɸ) semakin besar diameter sampel maka nilai sudut geser dalam (ɸ) semakin kecil. Dari pengujian didapatkan nilai persamaan dari grafik nilai kohesi pada sampel diameter 4.6 cm, 5.5 cm dan 7.5 cm adalah persamaan linear positif yaitu: y = 3,45x + 17,033 dan nilai R² = 0,5738 kg/cm2. Sedangkan hasil persamaan dari grafik nilai sudut geser dalam (ɸ) dari sampel 4.6 cm, 5.5 cm dan 7.5 cm adalah persamaan linear negatif yaitu: y = -2x + 48,833 dan nilai R² = 0,9796 kg/cm2. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diketahui bahwa sampel homogen yang memiliki diameter berbeda mempengaruhi hasil uji triaksial.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">T Technology (General)</mods:classification><mods:classification authority="lcc">TN Mining engineering.
