SMP Negeri 11 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode&#13;
eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian ini One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Jumlah populasi 224 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A&#13;
SMP Negeri 11 Padang dengan jumlah 32 siswa yang ditentukan dengan&#13;
menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan keterampilan menulis&#13;
teks drama siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik copy the master. Instrumen yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini tes unjuk kerja. Data penelitian&#13;
ini skor hasil tes keterampilan menulis teks drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri&#13;
11 Padang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik copy the master.&#13;
Hasil penelitian ini ada tiga. Pertama, keterampilan menulis teks drama&#13;
siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang sebelum menggunakan teknik copy the&#13;
master berada pada kualifikasi Labih dari Cukup (LdC) dengan nilai rata-rata&#13;
65,63. Kedua, keterampilan menulis teks drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11&#13;
Padang sesudah menggunakan copy the master berada pada kualifikasi Baik (B)&#13;
dengan nilai rata-rata 76,91. Ketiga berdasarkan uji-t, hipotesis alternatif H1&#13;
diterima pada taraf signifikan 95% dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = (n-1) karena&#13;
ttabel&lt;thitung yaitu 1,70&lt;3,68. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan&#13;
menulis teks drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang sesudah&#13;
menggunakan teknik copy the master lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum&#13;
menggunakan teknik copy the master. Dengan demikian, teknik copy the master&#13;
dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran keterampilan&#13;
menulis teks drama.</dc:description>
