Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Deskriptif Kuantilatif. Informan penelitian adalah masyarakat yang lahan sawahnya menjadi lahan permukiman di Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwa 1) luas perubahan lahan sawah menjadi lahan permukiman dari tahun 2003 sampai tahun 2012 di Kecamatan Koto Tangah, Kota Padang telah mengalami perubahan sebesar 4.007.154,72 m2 / 400,7 ha. 2) dampak alih fungsi lahan terhadap kondisi ekonomi masyarakat di Kecamatan Koto Tangah, a) mata pencaharian sebagai petani semakin berkurang, b) pendapatan pokok petani menurun, c) pendapatan sampingan meningkat.G Geography2014-05Universitas Negeri Padang;Pendidikan Geografi FIS UNPThesis
