Siswa juga cenderung kurang aktif, pembelajaran terasa monoton, dalam proses belajar mengajar sebagian siswa masih belum bisa mempunyai kemampuan untuk berfikir kreatif dan juga cenderung tidak mengajukan pertanyaan, sehingga dengan hal tersebut supaya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan siswa aktif bertanya pada proses belajar, maka guru dapat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan dalam riset ini yaitu agar dapat mengetahui keefektivan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pembelajaran tematik terpadu yang ada di setiap sekolah dasar. Dalam riset ini telah menggunakan Metode penelitian yaitu studi literature. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan menelaah dari jurnal-jurnal yang relevan sesuai dengan masalah penelitian dan ditambah dengan berbagai macam sumber buku referensi. Analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menghubungkan antara teori yang relevan dengan permasalahan konsep peneliti yang diperoleh.
