Robot ini dirancang menggunakan roda untuk berpindah pindah yang dikendalikan dengan sistem mikrokontroler. Pengaturan seluruh sistem menggunakan ATMega16, ATMega16 merupakan seri mikrokontroler CMOS 8-bit buatan Atmel, berbasis arsitektur RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer), Hampir semua instruksi dieksekusi dalam satu siklus clock, AVR mempunyai 32 register general-purpose, timer/counter fleksibel dengan mode compare, interrupt internal dan eksternal, serial UART, programmable Watchdog Timer, dan mode power saving, ADC dan PWM internal. Penggunaan Sensor ultrasonic sebagai pembaca jarak robot agar tidak membentur dinding, sensor debu GP2Y1010AU0F sebagai pendeteksi debu untuk mengurangi daya penggunaan penghisap debu RTC sebagai pengatur waktu pembersihan debu. Pembuatan Robot penghisap debu berbasis ATMega 16 menggunakan sensor ultrasonic dapat membantu peran manusia membersihkan ruangan, sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">TK Electrical engineering.
